INNOVARTE AND AIS PERU SEND FOLLOW-UP LETTER TO CONGRESSMAN

On C-TAP implementation recommendations

On January 17^th, 2023, NGO INNOVARTE and Acción Internacional para la Salud (AIS) Peru, sent a letter to Congresswoman Elva Edhit Julón Irigoín, President of the Health and Population Commission of the Congress of Peru.

The letter follows up on the previous written communication of December 29^th, 2022, which highlighted the importance of governments strengthening collaborative technology mechanisms such as the COVID-19 Technology Access Pool (C-TAP), a WHO initiative launched in 2020 to fight the pandemic.

In this regard, the December 29^th letter proposed a series of recommendations for the government to develop public policies to improve the implementation of C-TAP.
