International Seminar “Why Health Justice Matter?” organized by the Health Justice Initiative (HJI)

Between April 23rd and 26th, 2023, the Seminar “Why Health Justice Matter? The COVID-19 Pandemic: Lessons, reflections and intersection of the global south and climate justice”  çorganized by the Health Justice Initiative (HJI) in partnership with several organizations working for access to healthcare and health justice.

The theme of this first convening was “Why Health Justice Matters? The Covid Pandemic: Lessons from the global aouth and intersection with climate justice” which sought to generate reflections on the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic from a health justice perspective, and how they can be applied to the work of the climate justice movement.

Luis Villarroel, Director of NGO INNOVARTE, attended the event and participated in different sessions and workshops in which all the invited organizations were able to present their work and priorities, as well as the current challenges within the health justice movement.
