This April 13th, 2023, through its Director Luis Villarroel and Mariana Fernandez, our organization’s lawyer, NGO INNOVARTE attended the sixth meeting of the Civil Society Council of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation.
During the meeting, the recently appointed Minister, Aisén Etcheverry, presented to the Council the strategic lines of the CTCI Ministry and the results of the latest National Survey on Social Perception of Science. She also discussed the work being carried out by the various members of the Council and their doubts about the Ministry’s plan.
Luis Villarroel took the opportunity to ask the Minister about the Ministry’s position on incentives for the participation of Chilean innovators in global technology transfer platforms to give visibility to our country. Along the same lines, he asked about the Ministry’s position regarding the responsibilities of research centers for their results when the projects have been financed with state funds.
NGO INNOVARTE is a member of the Civil Society Council of the Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation since November 2021.
